We contacted Factory Direct to purchase a home for our property on our return to Texas. We had a deadline and max price which they assured us they could meet. Started this in 06-08. As the closing date came and went, we still were not getting any answers. When we asked what was going on, we would get "" everything is fine."" We met with the owner and told him we were done we could not wait any longer, with all of the vague, questionable behavior. We were told we would get a refund in 10 days. As of today, 10-24-08,we are still waiting on that refund . The owner will no longer return my calls. The last several conversations we had ""the check was in the mail"". Absolutely not an upstanding business. Buyer Beware.
