After reading the online reviews and looking at the website- I really wanted to like this place. I have had several disasters in this city and was really trying to find a salon to stick with. I know the stylist and the salon may not always be indicative of each other (one bad stylist may not make for a bad salon) but I do feel that the owners should not tolerate sub par work, or work that does not reflect well on the salon as a whole. Apparently, there are some really wonderful stylists here, so I won't say don't try them. However, my experience was not so great. The stylist I had was on the lower end of the cost spectrum there, but he was the only one who could take me on short notice. From the time i started talking to him, i felt like I was imposing on his time and that he had somewhere else he would rather be. He was constantly acting distracted- and did not seem to listen to what i had to say except for the fact that I wanted to keep some length and wanted bangs, other than that i felt like i was pretty much invisible. He seemed really rushed (but didnt appear to have anyone after me) and continually called me ""hon"" or something like that. I felt like he did not try very hard at all- and I gladly would have paid for more and left a generous tip if he had. The cut i ended up with as well as the experience as a whole can be summarized by ""meh""- not terrible, definitely not awesome. He also wanted me to come back for him to do my color in which my response is now- ""no way in hades"" because of how distracted he was and how little respect I received from him. \r
But, as I said- this was just one stylist - perhaps the senior stylists have a greater sense of customer care and service.
Pros: convenient location, low key, super sweet receptionist, cute puppy to greet people
Cons: impersonal stylist and assistant (who washed my hair), apathetic at best, acted bored and condescending
