I went to Southpoint with some friends. I bought a coffee at Starbucks before I went to the movies and my friends had leftover food. When the manager told us we had to put it back in our car and that I couldn't drink my coffee, I went OFF ON THEM. I told them where to go and said ""Fine, if we can't see the movie, we'll go somewhere else so give us our money back."" I made such a scene that they finally relented. My friends and I are responsible ADULTS, not teeny boppers! The theater should pay more attention to the trash that they let into the theater instead of people who are respectful.
Pros: the mall, the restaurants nearby
Cons: management is OCD; can't bring your leftovers after dinner; don't buy a coffee at Starbucks before the movie, they will give you heck over it
