My cable went out after Ike. It was still out 1.5 months later (no kidding). They tried to fix it at first--sort of--then they stopped bothering. I rescheduled service appointments half a dozen times, even to the point of getting the dispatcher involved and a CSR calling me at work. And still, no one showed up. My last call was to say that if they didn't come to fix it, I'd cancel, and I told the woman to put it in the ticket. Still nothing. So I canceled. I had been told that I'd be credited for the time I had no service. When I called to cancel, I was told that they only give the credit after it's been repaired. I said, ""Let me get this straight--you'll only credit me after it's repaired, but you won't come out to repair it? So I just keep paying and paying for a service you never provide?"" She said, ""Yes, that's right."" If it were worth it, I'd take legal action against this so-called company. They had no HD service, and their digital menu hardly ever worked, but they just flat would not come to fix it when it failed. No one at the company was willing to take ownership of the problem, despite 1.5 months of no service. I truly believe these people want to go out of business. I hope they do, and I hope they go down in flames.
