PLEASE do not support pet stores that keep their animals in unclean cages like this one! There was feces all over the toys and perches and the bottoms of the cages looked as if they had not been cleaned in over a week! The cages did not look like they had been inspected for chipped powder coating (dangerous heavy metal contamination!) The medium sized parrots were being fed a seed based diet (NOT HEALTHY) this can lead to serious health problems down the road and it is VERY hard to wean a parrot off a seed diet. The parrots were limited to 1-2 OLD toys. There was no stimulation for these birds at all. They obviously have no clue how to raise a happy and HEALTHY parrot let alone how to properly educate their potential customers! Overall the birds, especially the parrots, looked unclean, unhealthy and unhappy. One bird in perticular was actually sick and was in the same room with the other birds! Do you really want a life long pet that was raised in an environment like that?! There are much better places to get a pet. I am writing this as an experienced and concerend parrot and all around pet owner. There are a lot of resources online please research other places.
