Went online to find contact info for Asano Acupuncture to refer a friend. Saw the recent negative review and wanted to add my experience. My family and I have used Asano Acupuncture since 1999. Initially, I was referred by a friend when seeking holistic support for my son who was born with a hole in his heart. Asano Acupuncture treated him at 8 months old, prior to open-heart surgery. Their approach was to ensure that his body was strong enough for surgery and that he would become accustomed to medical personnel touching him. I'm grateful to Nobu, Celine, and their staff for the atmosphere they offer in their practice. It's informal, affordable, and personal. Yes, holistic approaches require active participation by patients in terms of feedback to treatments/herbs and tracking of symptoms, but I take comfort in the fact that this cooperative approach is treating the problem, not just relieving the symptoms.
