I am a yoga teacher and I need a massage every couple of weeks. I was looking for someone that I could hand myself to and "let go". When I arrived at Zen Blend, I was impressed with the energy inside. I could feel myself beginning to relax and feel good already. I was there with two other friends and we where scheduled to float, get a massage and hang out in the Zen garden. I started off with the Zen garden, I drank some wonderful mint tea and dark chocolate. I lounge in the hammock and watched the birds and the clear blue sky. I am really glad I got to do my own thing before the massage and float. It gave me some time with myself and I was so relaxed, which aloud me to fully embrace my experience with a clear mind. Then it was my turn to have a hot stone massage. Yummy, that was one of the best massages I have ever received. Kristi has a sweet, powerful and loving nature. I truly felt the love she has for giving to others. After my massage, I was off to float. I was not sure what to expect but was open to try it out. The floatation vessel is quite large and after you have been floating for a while you feel that it is expanding even larger inside. I really loved the under water speakers! The only thing I would wish for is that the water was a little warmer in the floatation tank, although I felt fine, I just prefer to be in much warmer water. If you are looking to get away but can not go too far, take a day to visit Zen Blend. You will feel revitalized and renewed and ready to go back into world.
