Under the watchful eye of Ontel Security guards, 14 cars were broken into at Modesto High School on 12/27/07. Security guards, assigned only to the parking lots, were nowhere to be found when the vandalism and theft was discovered. Items stolen included ipods, golf clubs, cash and other valuables - and many cars had been rummaged through, indicating that the thieves had plenty of time. Ontel's response thus far has been to fail to return calls and to direct questions to their attorney's office, rather than to step up, admit a poorly done job and take care of the damages that were clearly the result of a complete failure to do the job they were paid for.
