I went to Sandy Station with my boyfriend for the first time last Saturday to watch the Steelers play off game. We arrived around 6pm and the place was empty except for the Steelers fan club at the far end of the club seated at tables by the big screen TV. There were 2 waitresses serving about 50 people. The girl who was getting the drinks was very busy and although it was hard to get a drink, I did feel bad that she was overworked. After a long while we finally got the attention of the girl who was doing the food orders (skinny with blonde wavy hair) and eventually she brought 2 menus. All we wanted was a few appetizers! 15 minutes later with no sign of the waitress, I went over to the bar to try and place my food order but was told that I could only order from the food girl. So I went back to the table and we waited at least another 15 minutes *30 MINUTES or more TOTAL* until the food waitress came back to us. She was apologetic but it was WAY too late at that point. We didn't end up placing a food order and decided to leave after we finished our beers. I am not going to go back to Sandy Station and I would not recommend this bar to anyone. I'm SO glad that I didn't purchase a year membership to a place that doesn't care about the guests.
