The wiring in our complex was loose, and I had to hire a private electrician to fix it because maintenance failed to diagnose the problem after two visits. I received a $160 water bill after my toilet was left to cycle for two weeks, and when they did come to fix it, maintenance entered our apartment without permission while I was at work, peed on my bathroom floor, and left the front door unlocked and open when they left. The management and staff confronted me at my door and implied that I was lying, and the maintenance boy who had been in my home screamed in my face. The property management did nothing about my complaint, and corporate only responded after I went public with my problem.\r

We will be moving out in a few months, and were told we will have to pay for a replacement carpet at a minimum of $700, but closer to $1600 from what former residents have said. The carpet was not new at move in, and the stains that are appearing are coming up from the floor, not from us spilling anything! I've had this carpet professionally cleaned, and the stains keep coming back. It's disgusting.\r

Oh, and the walls and ceiling are so thin that I can hear every aspect of my neighbor's lives. My bedroom ceiling thumps and vibrates when my upstairs neighbors do laundry, which is usually around midnight. Our appliances are from the 1970's, and parking is a huge hassle if you have more than one car, and I don't feel safe walking to and from my car at night due to all the random people hanging around in the parking lot playing loud music after hours.\r

Management will not help you if you have an issue, and have been known to hassle renters after complaining. They have also ""lost"" my rent check once, and charged me a $90 late fee even though my check had already been cashed on time!
