I danced here for numerous years, started when i was four. It started off as a small little business but as i got older i was placed into a company and excelled from there. As soon as i joined the compaines my life was devoted to dance. You would spend all of saturday working on your dances becuase you didnt do anything in your last couple of classes so your left with a bogos routine that they threw together the night before. I always enjoyed dance, drama was always there, mostly becuase of bossy teachers that were basically your age with not much better dancing skills. I had heard what hard work the dance company was and how you had to be devoted so I QUIT before i moved up. Plus the $100 a costume was getting ridiculous especially when your in about 4 dances for the christmas show, then for the nutcracker, the spring show, and the june show, it gets outrageous. You are counted on to be there every minute of every class and show, the ladder thing is true, but they do not go by it. I enjoyed dancing there i met some awesome girls and some disrespectful girls who were always the ""favorites"" which they DO have. I love dancing i still do but i wouldnt recommend Anitas. Way to drama filled, and it is ""ANITAS DANCE CENTER"" it revolves around her, and if you dont go by her rules and commit your life to her, dont bother dancing there.
