It can be very easy to run up a bill at Kuruma if you don't know what you are doing (I guess that could be said for any high end sushi place), but it can also be very easy to experience the amazing sushi on a budget. My fiance and I come here regularly and are able to spend less then $80 for sushi lunch specials with beverages. The assortment you get is perfect and will leave you satisfied, especially with an extra Unagi Maki. Lunch is the way to go to enjoy Kuruma as a first timer and won't break your wallet. Ginger and Wasabi are home made and delicious. The fish is always perfect and as fresh as can be. Be sure to make a reservation even for lunch to play it safe. Service is perfect. I love trying new places, but this is one place I will always come back to.
Pros: Amazing fish, traditional place, and great service.
Cons: Pricey if you go a'la cart.
