The power went out. I couldn't do my christmas shopping. and They wouldn't refund my money for the movie I was 1/2 the way through... 1/2/2008

One the Saturday before christmas I took my disabled mother in a wheel chair, my three year old who was riding in her lap, my five year old and my seven year old to the mall to finish up the christmas shopping... My mom can walk short distances but not stairs etc.... Well we went through the bottom portion of the mall and when we went to the top I figured I would treat everyone to a movie... about 1/2 the way through the movie the whole mall lost power.... I had to stand in line for 45mins for some assistant manager to tell me he didn't care that I had come over 80 miles to get there (from Cascade Locks) he would not refund my cash.... He gave me a 'rain check' that expired in one year.... So agrivated form that I tried to get my mom out of the mall in a wheel chair... I had rented one there since I was anticipating not having enough room to bring hers... I had to get to the first level of the mall so I could get her ID back... and to get to my car... they made me leave the wheel chair 1/2 way through the mall and then I had to go all the way to JC penny's with my mom and children walk down the escilators and then back 1/2 way through the mall to get her license back... This was very hard and long process... The kids were fussing and my mom almost did not make it.... She has been very ill ever since... NOT at all a pleasent process... Pros: was nice starting out Cons: no fall back for disabled, no service skills amongst the staff more
