Went to 5 Front last night for the first time and dined in the park-like setting outside. Had fine food - calamari salad and a scallop entree all cooked perfectly , endive salad with pecans and grapes, all super fresh and lightly dressed so it remained crispy, and a hearty crab cake that was ALL crab, with just enough ""stuff"" to keep it together. The chef has a light and deft hand--nothing oversauced or underseasoned . We will go back for sure, and look forward to dining indoors during colder weather, as the space was appealing--very low key and intimate. Wish the outdoor chairs were higher and more comfortable, but that is easy to fix. Hope they share their crab cake recipe!
Pros: wonderful food, service on the mark
Cons: outdoor chairs too low for table height
