Pleasant Ridge Chili is one of those awesome one-of-a-kind food finds. Not as bland as the bigger chains, the service is usually friendly unless they're rushed and the food is always piping hot when served. It's a neighborhood establishment, locals frequent it regularly and it's not unusual to spot a few officers of the law enjoying a quick bite. Regulars know each other, new aquaintances are made at the counter.\r

The staff has been around for years and have seen their share of late-night revelers stopping in after a night out. Don't expect them to put up with rude people. The prices are great, the atmosphere clean but pretty cozy. Having their own parking lot really helps speed you in and out, a fast kitchen turns out your order quickly.\r

If you're expecting bubbly service in a chain-restaurant environment this place isn't for you. If you want to discover one of those last great mom and pop establishments serving Cincinnati-style Chili with their own unique recipes, this is the place. Casual dress, jukebox, open until 4:30am, brightly lit, busy late at night and a lot better than anything you can get at a drive-thru for about the same price.
Pros: Quick service, great food, parking, quick service
Cons: Don't expect the friendliest of servers. They're just efficient.
