I've eaten sushi in Japan, New York and Boston, so I was excited to finally find a sushi joint near where I live. The place was nice and the staff were friendly BUT THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE. The chirashi (various pieces of fish on a bed of vinegared sushi rice) was something I kept shaking my head over, and not in a good way: the fish had no flavor, and felt as if they were not fresh, but kept frozen overnight and thawed out for use. The rice wasn't even made properly. My wife's udon was made Chisese style, not Japanese style, and felt some discomfort later. What a huge disappointment. Do NOT go there!!!! Go to BLUE FIN in Porter Square.
