I have to honestly say that I am baffled by some of the awful reviews. I have been to this buffalo exchange several times and have been very pleased with my entire experience. The last time I went I sold a shopping bag of clothes and was delighted when I was offered $75 in cash and $150 in trade. The staff was funny and friendly and I found several things that a loved including a stunning Betsey Johnson dress that I saw in the mall only a few months prior. I work in the resale business and I think people have unreasonable expectations when selling clothing. You have to understand that, much like a car, clothing loses it's value the minute you take it home. Also, resale is a BUSINESS. They can't sell an item for the same amount you purchased it at. That would be silly and not very lucrative. If said resale store does not think they can make money off your clothing why would they buy them? Buyers have to have a tough skin; turning people down several times a day and getting told off on a daily basis can jade you bit. All in all I think Buffalo Exchange Austin is a great store and I will be back very soon to sell and purchase. I absolutely recommend this store to anyone in search of a great deal!!!
