Several months ago, I contacted the counselor who was supposed to be seeing my children. Because I do not have custody of them, he would not agree to meet with me (their father) as part of their intake. Logic would dictate that he would want a complete view of the problems with our children, but that has not happened. There is a court order that requires the counselor to provide timely written updates on the progress of the children, yet he is not adhering to the order. It has now been over three months and I have still not received any information about the emotional and psychological health of my children.
Cons: Incomplete data prior to working with clients. Failure to adhere to court requirements. Condescending attitude toward others.
