Unless you live there, Hamtramck is not typically a preferred destination. However, if you enjoy the real deal from Poland, this is the best place outside of Warsaw. Although the locals live on the City Chicken (a great dish), I pine for the homemade sausages and absolutely fantastic duck (a huge portion - one half of the entire bird - at a fraction you'll be charged elsewhere). And the Polish waitresses are, indeed, perfection in every detail.
