I went to Rudy's on Melrose for my first hair cut since moving to LA. They were very friendly and overall it was a good experience. They were a little short when quoting my wait time and I had to wait about 20 minutes, but no big deal b/c there are lots of magazines to read and good music. Jerry did a great job cutting my hair; he knew exactly what I was going for, even though I am not very good at knowing or describing what it is I want. It is a cool environment and they weren't snotty at all. Keep in mind this is not a luxury celebrity spa folks, so don't go expecting a world class experience. Its just a barber shop, they cut hair and they do it well. I am glad I found a new shop on my first try since moving here. The best part.... THE PRICE!!! VERY AFFORDABLE!
