I checked out 4001 Salon because it is down the road from the Hyde Park Bar and Grill and after some good food I decided I would like a good cut and color! I randomly went to Amy and am soooooooo happy that I did! She is awesome! I have NO idea what that other person was talking about when they said they didn't like their cut because mine was one of the best I have ever gotten. On top of that, the Salon itself is beautiful and relaxed and Amy is extremely easy to get along with. I am going back and plan to tell all of my friends so...if you want an appointment with Amy, 'better hurry now before she's constantly booked!
Pros: Love the atmosphere and the location
Cons: If you're looking for a notty stuck up salon where the staff address you as ""Ma'am"", this isn't it.
