I am Vietnamese and enjoy the food at Tamarind Tree very much. My favorites are the tasty appetizers such as the grilled la-lot beef roll, Tamarind Tree rolls in all variants, Vietnamese egg rolls - wrapped with the crispy rice paper or the main dish tumeric coconut rice cake. Pandan ice cream is my preferred dessert. It is the best Vietnamese restaurant for me in Little Saigon. The price for the good food quality and service is fine, and not expensive. I often go there with my family, and also with my business colleagues. I have never had a problem with the service staff. They were very busy, but always friendly, polite and hepful.
