Smelled great when we walked in and has a cozy feel. We were told at the door that it was family style and could share an entree because of the portion size (big). This was not the case at all - the waitress snapped at us and said that the hostess ""does not know what she is talking about"" and she was very frustrated that we did not know how it worked. We wanted to share a portion and have soup and salad, but she said ""NO sharing"". I thought maybe her not so friendly attitude would be different when she came back to take our order, but it was worse. You can see she was like this with all the customers. The food took a long time to arrive and was not so great. I grew up in an Italian home and this was not authentic Italian. P.S. The bartender looked like he wanted to hurt someone. MANY other Italian places to enjoy in North Beach - dont waste your money or time here.
