I visited 53 south last week - I have been driving by it for 2 years and decided to go in. What a pleasant surprise! The hostess was very bubbly and inviting. We had a drink at the bar - a great cocktail and wine selection and decided to have small paltes (I guess their version of tapas) - awesome duck wontons, & tomato soup shots.
We then moved to the dining room and our waiter was incredible. We split the pear salad and I had salmon - Almond encrusted - delicious! My husband had a steak - large, perfectly done and did I say large!
We spilt a chocolate dessert - yumm, and got out of there with a bill of $127.00 with tip. I will definately go back - the food, ambiance and service was incredible!
