I was looking to get my hair cut and highlighted for the first time as I saw a really cool hairstyle which I thought might work for me. This is a big step as first, I am a man & second I live in Europe where fashion is at a premium. Since I was visiting Miami I did some research on the net and found Gustavo's studio. His name kept on coming up in my searches and as I read, he came from an international background working in London & Germany.
To make a long story short, all of the reviews I read were true. Gustavo & his staff were very professional yet extremely personable. In fact the customer before me swore by him. Gustavo knew exactly what to do and gave me his honest opinion on what highlight color we should use to maintain a natural appearance ( Good because I was clueless). His confidence is obvious and it makes you feel extremely comfortable which is important regarding your hair. In the end, the cut was perfect and he even helped educate me on how to get the look(s) with my new hairstyle ( blowdry, smoothing serum, etc). No doubt I will be back in December on my next trip to Miami !
