Amuse is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I ate there for the first time a year and a half ago and have been back every week since then. The atmosphere is hip, yet intimate and very comfortable. They have a large lounge area with different seating arrangements. It's a great place to meet friends after work and share a few tapas and cocktails. My favorite drink is their cherry limeade. It's like a Sonic cherry limeade, but with a kick. The staff is friendly and the service is great. I love everything on the menu that I've tried so far and I've tried a lot of different things. Their endive salad is fantastic. The candied walnuts and dried apples are the perfect finishing touch. Their gnocchi is the best I've ever had. It's light and not doughy at all. The sundried tomato baby mushroom cream sauce is out of this world. Their burger rocks and you can get it for half price every Tuesday along with $3 martinis. My favorite desserts are the beignets with chocolate sauce and the funnel cake. It's like the state fair version only better. They have plenty of free parking. It's located in an up and coming neighborhood, but I feel safe there even at night. I feel safer there than I do on Greenville Avenue or in Deep Ellum. I can't recommend this place enough, but don't take my word for it. Try it yourself.
Pros: ambience and service
Cons: can't think of any
