i came across g&g auto thru word of mouth from friends who had been going to this shop. i live in chgo and was a bit reluctant to make the drive to skokie, but phet (the owner) came VERY HIGHLY recommended!\r

what a great surprise-- an HONEST AND RELIABLE MECHANIC!! he explained my land rover's (2004, more problems than it's worth!) issues in plain english-- no autoshop gobbledygook!! he manages a top-notch shop. the mechanics who work there are fast AND efficicent! i was shocked to see how many other chicagoans actually make the trek up to this (small) shop! obviously honest mechanics are hard to find, so when people find one, they sing his (or her) praises to anyone who listens!\r

take the drive out there! it's worth the trip! your car (and wallet) will thank you!! the shop is not too far from old orchard mall, so you can get in a day of shopping if you want!
