Not Worth It 8/26/2007

Slow service with only about 6 tables occupied. The ceviche was awful - like sucking on a lime. It was a huge portion of tough fish and shrimp that was WAY over marinated. My dining partner and I both had fresh fish dishes that were unfortunately obscured by sweet, gloppy sauces. The menu itself is a bit overcomplicated...if this place stuck to showcasing the fresh ingredients instead of obliterating the tastes with unnecessary sauces and seasonings, they would be much better off. And I think they offer every side dish that can be found in Central and South America. A bit much....\r Unless you are set on Latino cuisine, you are much better off at Tafia around the corner (they showed up the day they taught seasoning class at cooking school) or Shade in the Heights. Pros: Ambiance Cons: service, food more
