So we went bridesmaid dress shopping back in March, found a great dress at a reasonable price with free alterations, the dressed arrived in April and ""just come in a month before the wedding for alterations"" we were told, that's when the good experience started and the nightmare started. We had purchased the dresses downtwon, but when we went to make alteration appointments, we discovered the downtown location had closed, (with no call to us) and to come in to the Clackamas store. WE had three dresses, two arrived the proper size, the third had a correct size tag attched to outside of the dress, but was 2 sizes smaller than the outside tag indicated (per the inside tag) So the wrong-sized dress was re-ordered as a rush and two dresses went into alterations. When the 1 re-orderd dress came in, it was discovered only ONE dress came back from alterations a week past teh promised return time (The seamstress or store also LOST the dress) amongst all of this, our names were not correct in the computer and each phone call to the store was a pain-inducing experience talking to a variety sales gal who had no clue what was going on, nor how to rectify the situation nor appeared to care. Only one named Yen was helpful. The missing dress was re-ordered, and came in the WRONG size. The wedding is in 6 days from now, and we still only have 2 bridesmaids dresses for 3 bridesmaids and a ""promise the third"" will be here in 2 days and we are incurring teh additional cost of a private alteration since this place has screwed up SO badly!!!
