I started eating at Romans a couple years ago and fell in love with the pizza. I had to stop going there to eat because I found out I had Celiac Disease. One day Dave (the owner) called to ask why I hadn't been in to see him and I said, "" I can't eat pizza anymore"" ! After explaining to him what I had, why i couldn't eat pizza, how many people Celiac affects .. he said come talk to me, everyone should be able to have a pizza.\r
Well I went with a friend of mine and her children (one who has celiac) and he almost had tears in his eyes to think a child couldn't have pizza. This was in December .. the weekend of my birthday (march 31st) he served the first gluten free pizza .. it was amazing then and is even better now! \r

He has added several other GF items to his menu .. he even made me a cake and I must say it was THE BEST THING I've ever eaten!! \r

Romans Pizza has the best pizza in town ... and now they are the ONLY place any where near Knoxville that will make up a Gluten Free pizza .. calzone .. stromboli ... even chocolate cake!!! \r

Even people who eat his regular pizza (which is amazing) have come in requesting the GF pizza instead!! It's that good!!\r

If you want a GF pizza, call in advance to make sure DAVE is there (he is the only one that makes them). Also it takes him about an hour or so depending on how busy they are. So I advise that you order early.\r
