Past the expansive atmosphere is poor quality food & overpriced fun. 8/1/2007

Okay, so the hype of this place and its initial grand impression have worn off after a few visits. In the sports bar, the HUGE big screen TVs, the expansive crescent layout with a private club room in back makes this the ultimate meeting place to watch a game. But the food is of poor quality. I've eaten there four times now, and even the happy hour prices aren't worth the poor quality. The service is good in the sports bar, but outside of it around the bowling alley or private party rooms is very sporatic. The game room is expansive too, but the prices on the games, which can only be activated by prepaid cards, are outrageous. Plan on spending $20 here in less than 30 minutes.\r There seems to always be an alley available for bowling. My company paid for a couple of lanes in slider's alley. While I was an avid bowler as a teenager, I'm just not that excited about bowling. But many seem to be enjoying themselves there.\r If the food quality is greatly improved, I would return. Otherwise, I've moved on. Pros: Atmosphere is truly awesome, a must see. Cons: Poor food quality. Overpriced games. more
