so, this is exactly what you think a 101 class is. nothing fancy just the basics to see if you may like it. this is totally just like the name, an intro to basic ""sushi."" First thing that I noticed is that everything is a roll, it seems. now, you can order non-rolls, but the speicals are heavily 90% some roll. The food was fine and it was not great but not bad either. just a 101 intro to sushi. i would eat there again, but never to impress someone. it's perfect for the students. i didn't really like that the staff looked like the rest of the customers, in that they were dressed like us (slobs lol) but that they were Eating food was bad. For example, while wating for my food, some guy was walking toward me. (I was just watching him eating his lunch) and it turns out to be my food he is bringing me. (no, he was not eating off my plate, but his plage) So, that was a bit strange (ie. i thought he was a customer), but hey, it's college town and it is the ""intro"" 101 class to sushi. So, in conclusing. Yes, okay food. okay price. okay amount of food. ie value. I would go back, but not for the ""sushi"" expert. :)
Pros: location / value. relazing place.
Cons: don't expect the Scottsdale / upscale side.
