Thai Tom is my favorite spot for lunch in the U-dist. Sure, it's tiny and you might have to wait, but if that's going to be a problem you can always call ahead for takeout. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes to get in at lunchtime, and after you sit down the service is very quick. I've had several things on their menu and heartily enjoyed them all. George, the main chef, is fantastic. He is cooking everything on his own, juggling 3 or more hot pans at once, serving up hot, delicious thai food to the throngs of students who flock to the doors of Thai Tom.
Pros: great music, food is fantastic
Cons: you might have to wait- but it's worth it
