I live in Universal City and had been looking for someone who 'specialized' in cutting curly hair. I'd had some pretty disastrous results from stylists who just didn't know how to do my type of hair, so when I did a google search and saw Shanna's video and she had curly hair like mine, I thought, that looks like a woman who knows her stuff! The drive was over an hour long because of traffic, but I will say without any hestiation that it was well worth it! First, she was very friendly and open and we talked about what I was looking for and what we thought would work best for me. I'm just going to jump to the best part and say, ""I love my hair now!"" I haven't felt this good about my hair in a LONG time! And if that weren't enough, I had just gone through a break up and was feeling pretty down, but she made me feel so much better just by being herself - Open, candid, engaging and I just felt a real connection with her. She has a gift for making people feel welcome, and with her talent for hairstyling, you will definitely walk out looking and feeling good!
Pros: The whole experience was lovely.
Cons: If only I didn't have to drive over an hour to get there...
