The last year has been a roller coaster for me balancing school and a good paying job that would pay my bills. I decided to check out temp work. Over the summer, I went to various temp agencies around town, but had no luck. I wanted a job in my area of study: accounting, finance, investments, etc. These other temp agencies kept offering me sales/customer service jobs. I kept telling them I didn't want that type of work; especially @ the pay rates they were paying. I thought about giving up on temp agencies and taking a break from grad school this semester in order to land a good paying job. It was only 1 week (roughly) after my interview that I was offered an accounting job with one of their clients. I am so happy. It's flexible to a degree with my schooling.
