While visiting Charleston last spring my family and I were hopping around doing the tourist stuff, before we knew it lunch hour was almost over. We headed over to Hominy and were pleasantly greeted, seated and treated to the best food and southern hospitality there is. We all ordered lunch and then of course, dessert. DO NOT SKIP DESSERT HERE!! Everything was wonderful, so much that I bought the cookbook and make the Buttermilk Pie at home. The staff was exellent, the food was unforgettable and the atmosphere relaxing. If you are visiting Charleston, you must go. It is one of those places that the locals do not skip just because there are tourists around. Who in their right mind would skip out on this place??
