I took my daughter to Debbie at Avalon Hair Studios for an eyebrow and lip wax. I have never seen such a disaster of a wax job in my life. First, Debbie (who is very personable and funny) had my daughter sitting in a chair instead of laying on a table. The wax was dripping in my daughter's hair, which Debbie had to cut out with a scissor. By the time we left, my daughter still looked like she needed an eyebrow wax, and not only that, but Debbie had actually lifted the skin right off my daughter's face, which now has a red scab on it. Had I known that Debbie had hurt my daughter, I would have left without paying, but my daughter didn't say anything about it until we were in the car.
Pros: Debbie was full of personality and quite funny.
Cons: Debbie should NOT be doing waxing.
