I've used Doctor Cahoon for about twenty years off and on (depending on whether I lived in Seattle). The fillings he put in in the late 70s are still holding. He's knowledgeable about a wide variety of dental topics (though conservative) and not cheap. That said, he is probably the best dentist I've ever visited. He's gotten really good at making his work painless. Not the latest in tools (still uses a drill) but if you're looking for honest, thoughtful, thorough, painless and conservative I would highly recommend him. I've gone back to him after getting butchered by a cheaper, closer dentist.
Pros: painless, thorough, painstaking technique
Cons: cost, billing person not too bright
