Let me preface this review with the fact that I eat lunch and dinner at restaurants frequently as my job requires a fair amount of entertaining-- I would say I visit 4-5 restaurants weekly. As an individual who loves good food and great service... Le Marmiton was the biggest disappointment this year. I can forgive the roasted beet salad, having no 'roasted beets' but rather beets obviously straight from the can. I can forgive the bumbling, clumsy waiter with a fake french accent that came and went. I can forgive the fact that our cocktails arrive 20-30 minutes after we ordered them, even after reminding the waiter. What I CANNOT forgive is the single most important rule to any and every dining establishment- My companion and I did not eat our dinners at the same time. His steak au poivre was well-well done (medium requested) , and when telling our waiter, he actually asked ""well, do you want another one then?"" My lamb shank arrived, and 20 minutes later so did his steak. Horrible. Absolutely atrocious. The actual flavors of the lamb shank and steak were not bad, however the horrible service and sub-par food we did eat, makes it necessary that I warn other dining patrons to avoid this place at all costs. If you want good food, go to Cafe Del Rey, it's right around the corner, or stop into CPK, both are far superior to Le Marmiton. \r
Pros: Location (perhaps I'm biased as I live down the street)
Cons: Horrible Service, Sub-par food, crowded parking lots
