As I read some of the other reviews, I agree about the change in management. I believe I did hear that Kikuya's was sold about a year ago (or less than a year ago) and new owners took over. The authenticity of the food seems comparable; the taste slightly off though, from what I would prefer; but I do know that styles of Japanese cuisine can change. I thought their service was just fine and the young waiters and waitresses were very polite and attentive. However, I think the new owners are using a cheaper cut of chicken for their teriyaki. It has more fat and too much soy sauce (salty!). Overall, this is still a favorite of our family to patronize.
Pros: Taste, Authenticity
Cons: Too much soy sauce can mask the true flavor of the meat
