the fish here is incredibly fresh. the omakase exceeds sushi of gari but is lighter on your wallet. just tell your server what you don't eat, and allow the chef to do the rest. the sashimi starter is sublime, as is the king crab roll finish. in between are several courses of sushi, paired to highlight eachother, and are served on warm rice (it brings out natural oils in the fish for maximum flavor). definitely my favorite sushi restaurant in the city, i try to come as often as i can. price ranges from $65-70 per person depending on what the chef serves. he takes requests after the omakase if you're still hungry. call ahead for reservations...
