I had a bad experience with a dentist that I won't go into since childhood, but needless to say I never went to a dentist for a long time. My mouth became an unholy mess of broken teeth, huge cavities and my teeth were a nasty shade of browny/grey. I ended up talking with my hand in front of mouth and I couldn't look straight at people when talking or smiling. One rainy day one of my front teeth broke in half. I was so ashamed of myself.
