ok let me say that i am a BBQ person with family members that KNOW the best receipes for bbq from every region...... i had been to the one in albuquerque bbq was ok and loved the creamed corn. i was willing to give it another try and was all jazzed to go. we had a training which meant a lot of guest from out of town so one friday we took them here. i was not thrilled with the fact that they did not allow reservations for a large group of people and that we were told sure we will take the information but that does not mean you will all be seated. it just happened that everyone showed just before the rush so that went well. the service was great and they were very attentive. i ordered a mixed 3 meat platter. what can i say. the salad was good, the corn was on the cob. the little stub of sausage was interesting, the brisket dry as the sierra and i had to fight the bone for the meat of the rib. dessert was cobbler that was way too terribly sweet. that was all i could taste-sugar. all in all if you go here, do so for the drinks. i did notice that the albuquerque seemed to have more options...or maybe i just missed the creamed corn with green chili.
