I'm not sure what some of these other reviewers are talking about, I think Z Tejas has some of the best food I have ever tasted and I am very particular. I have never had a dish there that I did not like. My only complaints are that there is always a very very long wait and though the restaurant is in two old houses (which is cute), the ambiance is lacking. The bar area is nice but it's hard to get a seat there and the main seating area in the restaurant is kind of bland and generic restaurant like. For a place w/ such amazing food I think the decor could be a little bit more classy.
