When I first setup my appointment the receptionist at the front desk overwhelmed me (at first) with the different types of massages they offered. But I was impressed-- He was very good at explaining the differences and went into great detail for me. He asked me what I was looking for and recommended I get a deep tissue massage.
Upon arriving, I was welcomed to a clean, modern style lobby. Looked promising! The staff was really friendly and accommodating. I got there a little early and was seen as soon as I filled out the paperwork. I met my massage therapist, Gina and she was really friendly and I knew I'd be in good hands. I thought it was cool she asked me what music I wanted to listen to. I chose classical of course, I play trumpet.
The massage rocked! Right from the start I was in heaven. I've had my share of massages before, but none like this! She asked me what areas I was having the most trouble with and she did what most therapists don't do -- She worked it til it was all better! I can only afford to get a massage if a real bad knot bothers me for a while. Usually with other therapists they would work the area for maybe 10 minutes and move on to a full body massage. Which isn't bad, but I really loved how Gina worked it all the way til it's death! Awesome job! I badly wanted to do a follow up the week after just to have her smooth out the rest (we ran out of time), but I'm broke and live in Georgetown. I came all the way downtown because Myo had good recommendations on CS. I gotta tell you, it was worth every penny!
Thank you Gina! I'll be back!
Pros: Clean, knowledgeable staff, great value, great therapist, good vibes
Cons: Not in Georgetown =$
