We moved into a new home with a brand new refrigerator purchased from Davies. Plugged it in and it doesn't get cold. Called Davies. They made us call a repair service. It took a week for the repair guys to come out (in the meantime we have no refrigerator). The repairmen told us that there was a production assembly defect and the compressor is defective. To have the new refrigerator replaced, we need to call Davies. Called Davies and they won't replace it. They said that we have to call frigidair for a replacement. So I flat out asked the guy at Davies, "so your policy is that if you sell a customer defective equipment they can not return it to you and they have to deal with the headache themselves?" and I was told, yes, that's their policy. They are not helping us deal with this in any way at all. And we still don't have a working refrigerator. So.... Do you want to shop there? more
