Brought my Lincoln in for a leak and an unidentified noise. Noise turned out to be the a/c compressor. Leak was a tranny seal. Picked up the car after the week and a half that it took them to fix. Car now had creaking and clunking noises from front end, and under full throttle a fan belt sqeal. They looked at fan belt and front end noise and after 2 days told me front noise was a bad ball joint ($200) and the fan belt was fine (they offered no explanation for the belt sqeal). I had them fix the ball joint and after another 2 days my car was ready. Again there was noise comming from the front end. Again I went back and the service writer, John S, was not pleasant and told me perhaps they couldn't fix the problem. Again I left the car. Next day car was ready! Was told they lubed the front end. Not too bad. Only very slight nosie now. Let car sit for a week or so at home. Went to use it and surprise--the a/c was not cold (had just paid them $1,000. 2 weeks ago for the new a/c compressor) and again the front end was creaking. After taking the car back 2 or 3 more times for the a/c they found a fitting loose and a bad high pressure hose (another $400.---hmmmmm). Again they lubed the front end and I was told by John S.that was all they could do. All in all a very bad experience and a lot of my time. Yes they did fix the leak and finally the a/c (at a cost of nearly $3000.) but not the front end noise nor the belt sqeal. To further add to the experience, John S. was at times almost confrontational and at best indifferent to my frustration.
Pros: Open weekends
Cons: Very long repair times, time consuming, lack of client concern, poor work
