poor nieve people... 6/20/2007

First of all, the first day I went to her I waited an eternity in the waiting room, and when they finally took me back I waited another 40 minutes until she came in, didn't introduce herself.. I had no idea who she was. I must add she was also very pushy. I know first hand that she doesn't monitor medicine that she so carelessly gives out like other people have said. When I needed to get off the medication she gave me because it was a seizure medicine (its like she picks a type of pill out of a hat to give to people) which is far off from what I needed, I asked her how I should do this and her response ""Do it however you want"" Um excuse me? being a doctor and all shouldn't she tell me how? or maybe she is clueless herself? I had to take a class over at Texas A&M (which for those who don't know, ONE class is about $900-$1000) because of her. She prescribed me medication that was unnecessary but obviously she believes that isn't her problem, and it made me so sick. When I was trying to come off of the medicine she prescribed to me, I couldn't get out of bed for two weeks because it just poisoned my body. I missed class and I wouldn't of had to take it over but she decided to not return my phone calls or my professor's phone calls just to confirm my illness from medication which lead to my absences. If you have any self respect and honestly want help then don't go to her, I promise there are many more well suited psychiatrists out there that can help you. Oh, and another doctor I was going to read the assessment she wrote up for me to give to my professor (which she forgot to do so I didn't get it till it was too late.. again, theres another act of selfishness) and they said they can't see how Bousquez mangaged to acquire a PHD with her low language proficiency and her child-like writing skills. Cons: everything you can think of more
