I ordered several veggie specials with sides to bring back to several people in a different neighborhood, and I get handed one meat hot dog with a mess of tater tots. I realized the mix-up when I got home and I immediately called. (I was disappointed, but still friendly). The girl behind the counter blamed me, saying I ""took the wrong order."" This is funny, because she came up to me, said my name, and gave me the order. She refused to let me come back another time and give me the correct order, or even the difference in price (my order was quite a bit more than the order they gave me, plus I overtipped $5). She said this happens all the time. Hmm. I've worked in many restaurants and I know this is not good. Is it too much to ask for a little accountability and just decent customer service? Apparently so.
