I am new at the whole Bridesmaid thing so when I went to pick up my dress from David's Bridal in Sunset Hills I just asked what to do about alterations, knowing that it would be too long. She took me back right away and verbally fought with the alterations staff about my presence. I had my dress and my roommate's dress (two different sizes) and told them I wasn't sure which was mine. The women actually said to me, ""Oh honey, there is no way your fitting into a four."" WOW! Guess what. The four was mine and I got my roommate's dress altered to my height. Not only are they not willing to correct this error free of charge but the Alterations Manager actually laughed at my problem, argued with me, treated me like a liar, and yelled at me. How's that for customer service? I have been in Customer service for about eight years and cannot believe the treatment I received on the phone with this women. I went as far as asking her to please stop talking to me like that but that only caused more yelling. Not only did they make a huge mistake in the alterations of these two dresses but she insulted me in the process. The store manager is very respectful and it the only thing that kept me from giving this store one star. Moral of the story: if you do choose to go to this location and have an issue, skip right to the store manager if you are looking for results but I don't recommend going there at all.
